Church Partnerships

A practical legal-access infrastructure for the church family.

Liberation Law helps churches create a clear, professional pathway to immigration legal services without asking pastors or administrators to become immigration experts.

Designed for leadership

A pastor should understand the Program before the first meeting ends.

01

Program model

A participating church pays one predictable monthly Program Subscription. Eligible participating members and their immediate families receive an organized pathway to covered immigration legal services, education, and support under the Program.

02

Who can access it

Program access is for eligible participating church members and their immediate families, subject to the Church Partnership Agreement and the circumstances of each matter.

03

Administrative and paralegal support

Initial intake, biographical information collection, document organization, scheduling, routine administrative follow-up, reminders, signature coordination, attorney-approved form assembly, and church coordination ordinarily do not reduce included Attorney Utilization.

04

Attorney services

Attorney consultation where appropriate, immigration history review, eligibility assessment, document review, legal judgment, attorney review and supervision, covered filing work, and legal strategy are handled by the legal team as the individual matter requires.

05

Education and clinics

The Program can include Know Your Rights programming, church immigration clinics, attorney Q&A, seminars, panels, and community legal education.

06

Month-to-month participation

The partnership is designed to provide a practical, ongoing pathway. Final terms, eligibility, coverage, pricing, utilization, and participation are governed by the Church Partnership Agreement.

Pricing and utilization

Clear pricing. Clear distinctions.

The Program Subscription is based on average weekly adult attendance. Routine administrative and paralegal support ordinarily does not reduce included Attorney Utilization.

ESTIMATED INCLUDED ATTORNEY UTILIZATION

6 hours

Routine administrative and paralegal support ordinarily does not reduce included Attorney Utilization.

Estimate only. Final pricing, eligibility, coverage, utilization and other terms are governed by the Church Partnership Agreement.

If included Attorney Utilization is exceeded, the first 5 excess attorney hours are billed at $200/hour and additional excess attorney hours at $250/hour. These are institutional Program charges to the church, not individual attorney bills. Unused attorney capacity does not roll over.

The 200-adult illustration

$3,000 monthly Program Subscription. 6 included attorney hours.

At 5.5 attorney hours, the total remains $3,000. At 9 attorney hours, the 3 excess hours are charged at $200/hour, for a total of $3,600. At 15 attorney hours, 5 excess hours at $200 and 4 additional hours at $250 make the total $5,000.

Important clarity

These are institutional Program charges—not member attorney bills.

Covered members are not individually charged an additional attorney fee merely because the church exceeds included Attorney Utilization. Unused attorney capacity does not roll over.

What is not included

Scope remains thoughtful and matter-specific.

Services and coverage depend on the Church Partnership Agreement and the circumstances of the individual matter. Government filing fees, translations, medical examinations, experts, court costs, travel, and third-party expenses are generally not included. Court appearances, removal proceedings, appeals, federal litigation, and unusually complex or extraordinary matters may be excluded or separately priced.

Confidentiality

The church sponsors access. It does not become the client.

  • In an individual legal matter, the member is the client.
  • Church leadership does not automatically receive confidential case information.
  • The church does not control legal strategy.
  • Attorneys retain independent professional judgment.
